Travis Jamal Isreal, 33, is behind bars after stealing a vehicle in Montgomery County and committing multiple burglaries, thefts, and thefts from other vehicles.

According to police, in mid-December, Isreal stole a 2019 Toyota Rav4 from a home in the 7300 block of Miller Fall Road in Rockville.

That night, the victim was able to track the vehicle to the 100 block of East Deer Park Drive in Gaithersburg, at which point she called 911, leading investigators straight to Isreal

Items recovered inside the stolen vehicle included things taken during burglaries on Calabar Drive, Tulip Drive, Cottonwood Terrace and Washington Grove Lane, officials said.

The Gaithersburg resident was also tied to a "porch-pirate" incident on Gaither Road, as well as a burglary on East Deer Park Drive.

He was taken to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where Isreal was charged with multiple counts of burglary, auto theft, various theft offenses, rogue and vagabond, and resisting arrest.

He is being held without bond.
